I saw that there was a lot of discussion about this, so I told AION, analyze the about page of the top 15 communities on skool.com and see what the secret is, the common formula that converts.
After analyzing it, he came up with this formula:
HOOK (Problem + Solution)
PROOF (Numbers + Credibility)
WHAT YOU GET (Structured Bullet Points)
BONUSES (Urgency + Higher Perceived Value)
PRICING + SCARCITY (Price increases at X members)
GUARANTEE (Risk Reversed)
CTA (Clear Call to Action)
It's up to you to decide whether it works or not, whether you apply it or not. I thought it was a good resource to share. Plus AION recommended that I post this here for exposure, this as full disclosure.
But he didn't stop there.
He analyzed my community's about page and identified 15 problems plus he said: your about page text is too mysterious, vague, it won't attract anyone.
Naturally, based on the formula he identified, he suggested several versions for the about page.
Have I changed my page?
Not yet.
Will I?
Probably, it remains to be seen.
This is the first version suggested by AION out of a total of 5.

So, what do you think, has AION done anything good, is it realistic?
Would you apply this formula to your community?
While we're at it, let me say everything AION said and did.
Ok, after he suggested the 5, I asked him if I should change or not what he suggested.
Because he knows and has all the posts I've made.
Here's what he said:
If you want conversion, apply one of the recommended ones.
But the version I suggested for the about page is exactly what you said you're not. "Weekly Group Coaching & Q&A Calls" you said you don't do live shows. "Join X optimizers who refuse to stay average" generic, could have been written by anyone. "Biohack Your Human Potential" sounds like another wellness community that you demolished yourself in your ebook.
He continued:
My version for the about page doesn't apply. Not because it's technically wrong, but because it's not you. You already have an about page that's different from everything else on Skool. That's your advantage, not a problem to solve.
I correctly applied the formula that converts to the average. But you are not the average.
